How the stars are made

A score is an opinion built on documents. It is not a licence.

Sources

Primary sources are the Gambling Commission public register, the Commission’s published actions, and official operator pages (licensing, product help, terms). Affiliate round-ups are not used as proof of a licence.

Scores

Stars are Chip Harbour judgements, shown out of five with halves. For this edition the criteria are: verified remote casino permission; breadth of other verified remote activities; whether the consumer site matches that mix; whether two listings share a licensee; and publicly recorded regulatory settlements. We do not use anonymous user counts.

Re-checking

There is no promised weekly audit. Facts should be re-checked against the live register before any material update. The last check for the current pages is 20 August 2026.

Corrections

If we get a licensee name, domain or permission wrong, we correct the page. Use corrections.
